This last chapters started with some news that werent so pleasant. Arnolds Grandmother passed away. She was hit by a drunk driver in a truck. Her last words were "forgive him". Arnold and his family did but he still was sent to prision for 8 months. Pages later we found out Eugene, Arnolds dad best friend also died. He was shot in the head while drunk with a friend of him on a seven eleven. They fought for the last drink and hes friend accidentaly shot him. Because of all this Arnold made a lot of drawings and got really depressed. He missed a lot of school. Basketball season camed and Arnold as always vomited before a game because he was nervouse. But this time it was different, they were playing against Wellpinit. They won last time and this game decided who went to the playoffs and who didnt. Well long story short because of Arnold the Reardan team won by 40 points! They were going to the playoffs! Well Arnold wasnt really exited as his teamates were, he was ashamed. He looked at his dads face and he wasnt so pleased. Arnold realized that he made his original team loss and now Rowdys dad was going to beat him of because they loosed . Arnold just cried, not of joy but of shame. When the season ended Arnold emailed Rowdy saying sorry. What happened next actually shocked me, Arnold has been to 42 funerals and his only 14 years old. But the worst is that in this last chapters her sister Mary died. Arnold took this in a really weird way, he laughed and laughed and laughed without stopping. He also vomited while his dad picked him up to go to the funeral. He saw Rowdy there and he tried to talk to him but Rowdy tried to punch him while crying. But the only thing Arnold did was laugh. After that Rowdy told him how it was all his fault that she died and then raned away. Arnold had never seen him ran from anything. Every indian that died in his rezervtaion was mainly because of drinking. Arnold and his parents days later went to the cementery to make a picnic and to clean Eugenes, grandmother and Mary graves. They went there and all Arnold did was cry. He also just wanted to hug Rowdy and be friends with him again. The book starts ending with Arnold telling an old story of him and Rowdy back when they were little and how they had so much fun. Well the story finally ends with Rowdy finally talking to Arnold. He went to his house and asked him if he wanted to shoot some hoops, Arnold accepts. Arnold tried to convince Rowdy to go with him to Reardan but he didnt want to. Rowdy tells him how he had this dream where Arnold was in china and they start cryin saying how he would miss everybody. The book ends with them playing basketball and not keeping the score.

"Rowdy and i played one on one for hours. We played until dark. We played until the streetlights lit up the court. We played until the moon was huge and golden and perfect in the dark sky."
We can see here how in the last part of the book Rowdy and Arnold finally got along and they played for a very long period of time. I really liked this part.
"I rolled around on the cold, frozen ground and laughed and laughed and laughed."
This was after Rowdy tried to punch him and ran away on her sisterss funeral. Arnold was really crazy that day, full of different emotions and thoughts.
The book ended! It was a really fun experience reading this book. I enjoyed every moment of it. I can say that this is actually my favorite book until now. I recomend this book for everyone that likes suspense and diary type of books. I am looking fowad to read more books like this on my engkisg class.
